Many of us spend a lot of time sitting and we know that backbending, to a degree, can be a helpful part of undoing this pattern. The problem is that this pattern, as well as other variables, can also make this a difficult group of postures. Even experienced practitioners often feel discomfort and struggle with their backbends. As much as we appreciate the benefits, backbending takes us beyond the range of motion that we use on a day to day basis.


Understanding backbends gives practitioners a better understanding of where you should keep your focus and intention.This is a practical workshop where we will explore different preparation techniques. Just so you know, it's not all about your spine!
